South Pas Active Streets

Advocating for cyclists, pedestrians, and a more sustainable future.

South Pas Active Streets is a community organization working to strengthen our city by improving walkability and bikeability. Active transportation improves quality of life, contributes to our small town appeal, and is a core pillar of our city’s climate action plan. However, not all areas of South Pasadena are accessible by walking or riding a bike, as city design too often prioritizes driving speed over safety. We believe that every part of the city should be safe and accessible to people of all ages and abilities, and we aim to achieve that goal through community programs and advocacy.

General Meeting

We're holding a general meeting and brainstorming for future projects at Mamma's Brick Oven on Sunday, May 21st at 2pm. This is a great chance to meet up, hear about our plans and share your priorities as we try to make South Pasadena a better place for walking, biking, and rolling.

Recognition from Assembly Member Mike Fong

At the April Bike Bus ride, South Pas Active Streets was honored with a Certificate of Recognition from Assembly Member Mike Fong. The recognition was made for "... promoting active transportation that improves quality of life, contributes to our community, and is a core pillar of South Pasadena’s climate action plan.".
